Eugene E. Howard

Wells, MaineEugene E. Howard, 78, of Wells, Maine died Tuesday September 10, 2002 at The Maine Medical Center in Portland.He was born in Gilsum, NH., on November 17, 1923, the son of Chester and Hazel (Atwood) Howard.Mr. Howard worked for the Tannery in Waterboro for ten years, and worked for area schools as well.He was a member of The Wells Fish and Game Club, The York/Cumberland Chapter of The National Wild Turkey Federation and The York County Beards and Spurs. Mr. Howard was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and raising bird dogs.He is survived by his wife Josephine Howard of Wells; daughters Debra Guyette of Springvale, Tina Winchell of Acton, Greta Williams of Bangor; step-children Richard Rondo of West Chesterfield, NH., Arthur Rondo of Marlboro, NH., Geraldine Tetreault of Keene, NH and William Rondo of Somersworth, NH; sisters Louise Campbell of Florida and Evelyn Chase of Keene, NH. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.Funeral services will be private. Arrangements completed by Heald Funeral Home 580 Main Street Springvale.
