Paul Norman Emerson

Paul N. Emerson, 72, died at his home on November 20, 2004 in Springvale. He was born September 1, 1932 in Concord, Massachusetts a son of John D. and Catherine (Otto) Emerson and graduated from Concord High School. Mr. Emerson served during the Korean Conflict in the United States Marine Corp. Mr. Emerson has resided in the Sanford/Springvale area for the past seven years. He worked as a carpenter for several rental properties in the area. Paul enjoyed fishing and hunting. He liked being home and watching his favorite television programs.Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Ruth (Gray) Emerson of Springvale; two sons, Paul Emerson, Jr. of Maryland and Billy Jo Emerson of Massachusetts. Three daughters, Melody Emerson of Sanford, April and Rebecca "Becky" Emerson of Springvale. Six grandchildren and a special grandson, Patrick Emerson. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2004 at 11:00 am at The Salvation Army, 871 Main Street, Sanford. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be later at the Veterans Cemetery in Augusta.
