Evelyn D. Frevele

Springvale, MaineEvelyn D. Frevele, 93, of Springvale, died Saturday August 24th, 2002 at The Goodall Hospital in Sanford.She was born in Trois Pistole Quebec Canada on November 16, 1908, the daughter of Joseph and Apauline (Parent) Dumont and attended schools in Canada.She worked in Salmon Falls, NH., at the cotton mills there, as well as at The former Goodall-Sanford Textile Mills. She worked for The Colony Hotel in both Kennebunkport Maine and Delray Beach, Florida for 21 years. Evelyn also worked as a waitress and chambermaid in Boca Raton Florida.She was a communicant of St. Ignatius Church in Sanford. She enjoyed dancing and dining out. Evelyn was a very classy lady. She was a caregiver to her family as well as others in need.She is survived by her sisters Jeanette Girard of Sanford, Simone Fortier of Sanford and Lillian Couture of Sanford; her brothers Henri Dumont of Shapleigh, George Dumont of Augusta, Joseph Dumont of Brunswick, Omer Dumont of Sanford, Conrad Dumont of Sanford and Raymond Dumont of Sanford; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Arsene, Louis, Paul and Maurice, as well as her sister Louise Valee. A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday in St. Ignatius Church in Sanford.
