Elizabeth Jean Marston

Elizabeth "Betty" Marston, 69, of Sanford, died suddenly at the Greenwood Center, Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004 with family by her side. She was born and raised in Lynn, MA a daughter of Thomas and Bessie (Acheson) Boisvert . She moved to Maine in 1984 to be closer to her family here. She was a caring and devoted mother to her children and grandchildren. Betty was a music lover; she played the organ, listened to many artists, with a fondness for Elvis, Tom Jones and Englebert Humperdinck. Mrs. Marston was one you could talk too; she was a bundle of love. Her children remember her "making things special" and dancing around the house. She collected porcelain angels and had a great fondness for her "kitties" and enjoyed the companionship of her cat, Coco. She spent many weekends camping with her son and cookouts were her favorite. Family members include two sons, Brian Duffy of Springvale and Dennis Duffy of Lebanon; two daughters, Debra Nash of Sanford and Pamela Sweeney of Arkansas; one brother, Thomas Boisvert of Lynn, MA; and two sisters, Marjorie Johns of Vermont and Barbara French of Florida; 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Francis Duffy, Jr. and brother Richard Boisvert.Funeral Services will be Monday, Dec. 27th. At 2:00 pm at the Heald Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale with Rev. Susan Kingman, officiating. Family and friends may call from 12 pm until the hour of service. Burial will be in the spring.Memorial donations may be made to the Animal Welfare Society, Inc., P.O.
