I saw her from when I was a kid in elementary school (I graduated in 2014) up until I moved away in 2021. When others would look at me seemingly acting fine even though I was sick, she would listen and know that I was just putting on a brave face and pretending I was fine. I had the flu and my mom brought me in to see her because I had ear pain, among other things of not feeling well for a few days, and while others she brought me to just brushed it off because I was still smiling and laughing, Nancy knew that was just me, and that there was actually something wrong. She found out that I had a double ear infection and the flu and took me out of school. She will be missed, and I wish her family my condolences.
