Zepherin Martell

Sanford, MaineZepherin Martell, 96, originally of Sanford, died June 17, 2002 at The Hawthorne House in Freeport.He was born in Sanford on September 3, 1905, he was the son of Zepherin and Amanda (Cote) Martell and attended local schools.Mr. Martell was a veteran and served during WWII. He was also "Military Police". He came from a family of 14 children, nice boys and five girls. He worked in the Limerick Yarn Mills and his brother Edward's saw mill.Mr. Martell is survived by his sister Alice Thibodeau of Scarborough, Maine, he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by 12 brothers and sisters.Relatives and friends may call from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM on Thursday at Heald Funeral Home 26 Sokokis Trail North, Limerick, Maine, where a funeral will follow at 2:00 PM on Thursday. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Limerick, Maine.
