Yvonne Caron

Yvonne T. Caron, 71, of Sanford passed away after an extensive illness on Thursday October 27, 2005 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Sanford on February 13, 1934, a daughter of Arthur and Lea (Doiron) Melanson.A devout catholic, the church and the faith were an integral part of her daily life. Having attended St. Ignatius Catholic School, she remained a lifelong communicant of the parish, serving as houskeeper at St. Ignatius Rectory for over a decade.Family was very important to her, she enjoyed spending time with her brothers and sisters. The greatest joy in life was the cherished times she had with her children and grandchildren. During her spare time she enjoyed doing puzzles and knitting.She is predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Denis E. Caron who passed away in 2003. She is survived by one son, David Caron of Sanford, two daughters, Donna Cormier, her husband, Clifford and their sons, Benjamin and Derek of Sanford, Linda Chapman and her husband, Randy of Sanford, three sisters, Imelda Dewire of Sanford, Marie Patrick of Manchester, NH, Domitile Maggio of Sanford, two brothers, Louis Melanson of Sanford and Armand Melanson of Sanford.A mass of christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday November 2 at 9am at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church in Sanford.
