Wayne E. Ricker,73, of Scarborough Maine, died January 1, 2022. He was born in York, Maine on March 17, 1948 to Harold and Louise (Rich) Ricker. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother. Wayne served in the Marine Corp during the Vietnam War and was a Purple Heart Recipient.His passions were hunting and fishing this great State of Maine. He is survived by his sister, five children, four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.A private burial with be held at the Southern Maine Veteran's Cemetery in Springvale, ME. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in his name, to the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.   1. Wayne, I will always remember you, you were kind and funny and had your own unique view of the world. You were proud of serving this country, even as you dealt with the wounds that war had left you with. Hunting, fishing and spending time in the woods or at a lake was how you found happiness, I hope there are endless trout where you are now and a few ten point bucks as well.
