Wayne E. Gray

Limerick, MaineWayne E. Gray, 75, of Limerick, Maine died January 2, 2002 at The Goodall Hospital, Sanford, Maine.He was born on October 6, 1926 in Lancaster, NH., the son of Dewey and Marion Smith Gray and graduated from Newport High School, Newport, NH.When Mr. Gray was younger he worked as a lumberjack. He then was employed by Pioneer Plastics and Eastern Plastics, both of Sanford. Most recently Mr. Gray worked for UNICO of Sanford. He was employed there for more than 12 years, retiring in the early 90's.He enjoyed working around his yard, specifically with gardening , as well as his flowers and trees. He loved all of his animals and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.He is survived by his wife of 51 years Janet Bean Gray of Limerick; his sons Carlon Gray and his wife Terry of Alfred, Maine, Lynn Gray and his wife Sylvia of Limerick, Maine; three grandsons Gary, Clayton and Johnathan Gray; also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter Toni Gray who died in 1967, and by his brothers Murray and Clayton.Relatives and friends may call from 6:00PM - 8:00PM on Friday January 4, 2002 at Heald Funeral Home 26 Sokokis Trail North, Limerick, Maine. Graveside services will be held in the spring in The Highland Annex Cemetery, Limerick, Maine.
