Wayne D. Cormier

Wayne D. Cormier, 25, of Berwick, died unexpectedly on June 12.He was born in Portland on March 27, 1980, a son of John J. Cormier, Jr. and Linda Jackman Johnson.He was a graduate of Wilmington (Mass.) High School where he played football.He was employed with Pella Windows and Doors in Somersworth, NH.He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying biking, fishing and hiking. He was also a sports fan especially of the New England Patriots.Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Linda and Bill Johnson of Newfield, a daughter, Kianna Marie Cormier of Berwick, twin brother Dwayne Cormier of Rumford, brother Joshua Cormier and his wife Cherie of Sanford, his father, John "Jay" Cormier of North Carolina, maternal grandparents Richard and Jeanne Jackman of Shapleigh, stepsister Erica Johnson, stepbrother Dylan Johnson, both of Methuen, MA, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.Visiting hours will be held on Thursday at 10 AM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale, where a funeral service will follow at 12 noon with Deacon Paul Lissandrello officiating.
