Virginia F. Mack

Virginia F. Mack, 85 years old, of Lebanon, ME died early Friday morning January 9, 2004 at the Sanford Healthcare Facility.Mrs. Mack was born on May 10, 1918 in Boston, MA. She was the daughter of George and Rachel Carroll Sullivan. At a young age her family moved to Keene, NH, and it was there that she was raised and attended schools. She then spent a few years in Nashua, NH, and then moved to the Sanford, ME area in the early 50's.Mrs. Mack was married to the late Andrew Mack who died in 1995.Mrs. Mack greatly enjoyed sewing, and volunteered a good portion of her time with the young ladies of Girl Scouts, where she was a troop leader.Surviving is a son Ronald Mack of Callahan, FL; three daughters, Emily Baxter of Lebanon, ME, Andrea Lucas of Lebanon, ME, Cynthia Wallingford of Berwick, ME; a sister Donna Hoover of Weymouth, MA, 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.A graveside service for Mrs. Mack will be held in Keene, NH in the spring of 2004.In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Belknap County Nursing Home Activity Fund, 30 County Drive, Laconia, NH 03246.
