Violet Fredette

Violet Fredette, 102 years old, of Sanford, ME died Thursday, August 23, 2007 at the H. D. Goodall Hospital in Sanford.Ms. Fredette was born on May 30, 1905 in Barrington, NH. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Edmire Bernier Fredette.For over 40 years Ms. Fredette worked in the hotel industry as an innkeeper. She worked in both Maine, and Florida, and along the way had met many interesting people. Ms. Fredette was a quiet person, and enjoyed the company of her cats.Surviving are several nieces, nephews and friends.A period of visitation for Ms. Fredette will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St. Sanford, ME. Following visitation an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Holy Family Church, St. Therese of Lisieux Parish of Sanford, ME.
