Before retirement he had previously worked at G.E. in Portland and Ekto in Sanford.He is predeceased by his wife, Muriel (Champagne) D'Auteuil, his parents, Gerard and Eleanor D'Auteuil, one brother, John D'Auteuil.He is survived by three daughters, Holly Maddox of Sanford, Rita Loft of Standish and Belinda Vitale of Portland, two brothers, Conrad D'Auteuil of Strong, George D'Auteuil of Springvale, two grandsons, James Loft and Jon Loft.Visiting hours will be on Thursday, April 19th from 6 to 8PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 20th at 9:30 AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church Located on North Avenue in Sanford.
