Theresa G. Ciullo

SpringvaleTheresa G. Ciullo, 96, of Springvale, ME died early Wednesday morning December 5, 2001 at the Maine Stay Nursing Facility in Sanford, ME.Mrs. Ciullo was born on July 4, 1904 in West Boylston, MA. She was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Marianne Maturo Greco. She was educated in East Boston, MA. Theresa G. (Greco) received certification from the City of Boston School Committee in rapid legible business writing in 1918. She graduated as a Dental Hygienist from the Boston School of Dental Nursing in 1940 and worked many years for a dental and oral surgeon. She retired from the State Street Bank of Boston after 27 years of service. She was a member of the Arlington Womans Club, Arlington Historical Society, Womans Committee of Boston Chapter of American Institute of Banking, The Boston Bankers Stamp Society, and the Italian Historical Society of MA, Inc. She was also a member of the Maine Maritime Museum and former Secretary and member of the York Stamp Club.Predeceasing her is her husband Alphonso Ciullo formerly of Arlington, MA; four brothers, Frank, Louis, Thomas, and Pasqale Greco all of MA, and two sisters, Anne and Michilina Greco both of Springvale, ME.Surviving is her loving son Robert H. Ciullo, Ph.D. of Springvale, ME, and a grandson David R. Ciullo of Epping, NH.A period of visitation will be held on Friday December 7, 2001 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 580 Main St. Springvale, ME. An 11:00 AM graveside service will be celebrated on Saturday December 8, 2001 at Notre Dame Cemetery in Springvale, ME.Memorials for Mrs. Ciullo may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
