Stephanie Flanders

Stephanie Flanders, 51, of Sanford, died peacefully at her home with loved ones by her side. Her courageous and dignified battle with cancer ended on Sunday, February 12, 2006. Her soul may now be at peace.She was born in Newfield on July 28, 1954, where she was raised. She attended Newfield schools. She was 1 of 3 children born to the Bud and Betty Beal. She was an active member of the community; she dedicated many years to the parent connection support group. She held a strong belief that "children are our future."Some of her many interests included spending time with her only son, Kendrick and her grandchild, Abigail, her 3 cats, her favorite cousin Jean Abbot, D'Jeih, Dianne, and her friend Lana. She was also a lover of music, especially Janis Joplin and Pomegranate.Stephanie was predeceased by her parents, Bud and Betty Beal and her grandparents, Arthur and Ruth Beal. She leaves behind her only son, Kendrick Flanders and her granddaughter, Abigail Brennan. Arrangements are through Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home.
