SANFORD—Shirley E. Duprey, 97, of Springvale, died Thursday June 6, 2024 in Sanford.
She was born May 2, 1927 in Kennebunk, Maine the daughter of Frank and Rachel (Clark) Moulton. She attended Kennebunk Schools and early on worked for Aleta Dress, Converse Robber and Kessler Shoe. She eventually worked for Sprague Electric as a machine welder, retiring in 1989. Shirley was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness. She enjoyed crafts, including crocheting, knitting and quilting.
Ms. Duprey was predeceased by her parents and her siblings, Raymond Moulton, Lloyd Moulton, Helen Dorr and Patricia Moulton.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Duprey of Springvale; her daughter, Carol Ann Roux of Sanford; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
