Sandra Bouzan McLeod, 82, of Shapleigh, Maine, passed away peacefully at home on May 14, 2026. Born in Needham, Massachusetts, to John and Ruth Bouzan, Sandra grew up with a loving family and a strong sense of kindness that shaped her entire life. She graduated from Natick High School before beginning a life filled with devotion to family and service to others.

Sandra was the beloved wife of Donald McLeod, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage—a bond marked by deep love, partnership, and countless cherished memories. Though she held many different jobs over the years, the role she treasured most was being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with them.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Donald, and their children: • Cindy (Stephen) Marshall of Shapleigh, Maine • Scott (Debbie) McLeod of Acton, Maine • Shawn (Cathy) McLeod of Springvale, Maine • Corrie (Dan) Boucher of Springvale, Maine, and daughter in law Angie McLeod of Sanford, Maine.

She is predeceased by her son, Craig McLeod.

She was the proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 8 great‑grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense happiness. Sandra’s legacy lives on through them and through the love, warmth, and strength she shared so generously.

Sandra will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her steady presence, and her unwavering devotion to the people she loved. Her kindness touched everyone who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held, at the Sanford Elks on Sunday July 19 th 2026 from 1pm – 4pm
