Sally A. Brook

ActonSally A. Brook, 58, of Acton, ME died Tuesday afternoon, December 18, 2001 at the H.D. Goodall Hospital in Sanford.Ms. Brook was born on August 12, 1943 in Sanford, ME. She was the daughter of Wilbur and Bobby Penney Stanley. She attended Shapleigh Elementary schools and graduated from Sanford H.S.For many years Ms. Brook worked for the Maine Stay Nursing Facility in Sanford. She enjoyed cooking for her friends and family, crocheting, and knitting. More than anything Ms. Brook enjoyed her gardens, being outdoors, and cookouts at the family camp on Mousam Lake.Surviving is her father, Wilbur Stanley of Shapleigh, her very special friend and partner for over 16 years Barry Rowe of Acton; two sons, Stephen and Ronald Brook both of Shapleigh, a sister Cindy Smith of Shapleigh, a brother Reginald Stanley of Iowa, and her five granddaughters, Samantha, Abigail, Haley, Savannah, and Madison.A 10:00 AM funeral service for Ms. Brook will be held on Friday, December 28, 2001 at the Heald Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Springvale, ME.
