Ruth Fusillo

Ruth A. Fusillo, 87, of Lebanon, Maine passed away at her home on Saturday December 10, 2005. She was born in Ossining, New York on December 13, 1917 a daughter of William and Lillian Platt.On January 29, 1955 she married Nunzio B. Fusillo in Rowayton, CT. Prior to moving here 27 years ago they had resided in South Carolina. Talented and artistic, she enjoyed painting, quilting, playing the organ. She derived great pleasure in gardening, which led her to found the Southern Maine Garden Club in which she served as First President.She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Nunzio B. Fusillo of Lebanon, one daughter, Carol Yarborough of Manning, SC, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, one nephew and niece, Armand and Doreen Roy of Sanford as well as several great nephews and nieces.
