Russell W. Graffam

Russell W. Graffam, 52 years old, formerly of Waterboro, ME, and most recently of Occum, CT, died Thursday, September 22, 2005 in Norwich, CT.Russell was born on June 17, 1953 in Sanford, ME. He was the son of the late Lewis and Elsie Libby Graffam. He attended Massabesic schools, and before falling ill worked as a truck driver for R&B Poultry out of Lebanon, CT.Russell enjoyed NASCAR racing, watching the television show COPS and a good Red Sox Game. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many.Predeceasing him were his parents, a son Russell W. Graffam Jr., a sister Tracy, and two brothers, Lewis Jr. and Brian.Surviving is his wife of 26 years, and good friend since childhood Connie D. (James) Graffam of Occum, CT; two sons, Chad Graffam of Parkman, ME, Curtis Graffam of Colorado Springs, CO; two daughters, Jessica James of Jewitt City, CT, Maggie LePage of Westleigh, RI, and ten grandchildren. Also surviving are eight sisters, Vera Noble, Christine LaFontaine, Dorothy White, Donna Hurst, Brenda Brennan, Donita Poole, Beverly Savoie, and Lisa Savoie; six brothers, Anthony, Donald Sr., David, Richard, Rodney, and Kevin Graffam, and several nieces, and nephews.A period of visitation for Russell will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2005 from 5 to 7 PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main St. Springvale, ME; where funeral services will be held on Monday the 26th at 10:00 AM.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Graffam Family at P.O.
