On Wednesday, October 19, 2022, Ronald Bruce Butler (better known as Ron or Ronnie, he hated being called Ronald) passed away at age 66.
Ron was a generous man, always helping anybody- whether it be fixing a car, painting, moving heavy objects or any other way that he could. He had a unique sense of humor (he once tried to put his wife on lay-a-way at Ames). He loved to play pool and teach others how to as well. He loved visiting his grandchildren and would often be found sleeping in his car just so he could surprise them in the morning.
He is survived by his children Michelle and Michael, grandchildren Reece, Jaidyn and Jason, father Bruce, sister Bonnie, several nephews and nieces, and lifelong best friend (and mother to his children) Linda.
There will be a pot-luck style Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 12pm to 4pm at the AMVETS, located at 169 School Street in Sanford.

Love you uncle Ronnie
Ronnie you certainly were one of a kind. You were the absolutely most stubborn man I ever knew but you also had the biggest heart that I ever knew. Always so willing to help anybody you could and you would give your last dollar if somebody else needed it. Even though we’ve haven’t been in touch very much over the past few years I will miss our birthday calls and simply knowing that you were there. I loved you Ronnie and I know that you loved me. I know you were very sick towards the end but of course you didn’t tell anybody. But my trust is now that Jesus has set you free from the pain and suffering that you had. Ronnie, I have so many memories of you. 1st time we met, riding around,plowing thru snowbanks in your car or truck. You getting so badly sunburned on our honeymoon,camping, bringing the kids to Castle in the Clouds, our good times & bad. You were always there for me. I will ALWAYS love & miss you.Linda
