Robert J. Thibeault

Robert J. Thibeault, 86, of Sanford, passed away on Saturday March 5, 2016 at the Newton Center in Sanford. He was born in Sanford on May 4, 1929 a son of the late Joseph and Delima (Dubois) Thibeault. He attended St. Ignatius High School. A served in the US Army during the Korean War stationed in Germany.For 12 years he was a meat cutter at Roger's Supa Dolla and retired from Pease Air Force Base.On May 14, 1955 he married Lucille Corbeil.Lucille passed away in 2014. He also predeceased by one son, Mark Thibeault who passed away in 1972.He is survived by two sons, Richard Thibeault of Bowling Green, KY and Jon Thibeault of Sanford, one daughter, Michelle Brandt of Moreno Valley, CA, one sister, Lorraine Sevigny of Springvale, one brother, Gerard Thibeault of Nevada, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday March 11th at 10AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church in Sanford.
