  1. My sincerest condolences to Cindie and the rest of Bob’s family . he will be sorely missed. Bob has been an important part of my church life since I was a teenager. His love for and devotion to our parish was obvious and felt by anyone who came in contact with him. I’ve been fortunate over the past 10 years to serve on the vestry with him. Bob was a man of great faith Who cared deeply for his family friends and community. He loved St. Peter’s and its parishioners doing everything in his power to support, Build, and enhance our congregation and ensure we will continue to share faith , Fellowship, and God‘s love throughout our parish and community. even when his health should have prevented it. St. Peter’s will be a very different place without Bob. I am so thankful to have known and worked with him and blessed to be able to call him a friend. Some of the things I’ll miss most are his presence on the altar, His knowledge of every hymn and his voice, his expertise as a thurifer. on high holy days. Talking to him about our shared history over the years at Saint Peters Godspeed my friend

  2. Bobby and i worked at mercy hospital. he would visit us in the housekeeping break room and was always friendly. he loved my homemade fudge and if i didn’t see him i would save him some. it was an honor to know his for the 15 years i worked there. RIP my friend.

  3. Bob was one that kept in contact with me at times regarding me with my Covid follow up’s, One thing he did constantly was have me tell Robert junior to put the scanner on, there is a huge fire somewhere. The last two years of random text messages i am gonna miss tremendously. I also want to tell you I will try my hardest to keep an eye on Robert junior for you.
    Cindy, Huge hugs to you!!!

I am gonna miss you Bob Sr!!

  4. Robert Sr had left to go to a fire call, and my mother was cooking supper and she thought she would leave the venison, needless to say he can re sole on his shoes if they ran out.

  5. There is a old picture floating somewhere of Bob sherwood Sr painting the arrows to the old mercy before the city painted the arrows..

  6. I did not know Robert really well but in interactions with him I enjoyed his company. we thank him for his time with Southern Maine Fire Notification Association.
