Robert H. Newhall

Mr. Newhall was born May 28, 1941 in Sanford to Harold and Irma Gauthier Newhall and was a 1959 graduate of Sanford High School. He was employed by Expanded Rubber in Sanford. Robert was an active member of the Sanford Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and cards; animals also brought him a lot of joy. Robert was a very social person and was well liked by his family and friends.Mr. Newhall was predeceased by his daughter Crickett Newall in 2004.Surviving are his wife, Peggy Newhall; his mother Irma Newhall; a brother, Richard Newhall; a sister, Rita Lemay; a son, Shawn Newhall; three step-sons, Randy Brunelle, Josh Downs, and Randy Rollins; three step-daughters, Vicki, Peggy Rollins, and Shelli Rollins; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.A memorial service will be held at Notre Dame Parish in Springvale on Friday, May 13, 2005 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery in Springvale. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association, 343 Gorham Road, South Portland, Maine, 04106.
