Robert T. Gore

KennebunkRobert Thomas Gore Sr., 89, of Kennebunk died late Friday evening March 1, 2002 at the Greenwood Center in Sanford, ME.Mr. Gore was born on December 31, 2002 in Philadelphia, PA. He was the son of the late Jehu and Lillian King Gore. He attended Pennsylvania schools and was a graduate of Penn State University. For many years Mr. Gore worked as an electrochemical engineer for the American Can Company.Mr. Gore spent the majority of his life living in New Jersey. He moved from there to Virginia and finally settled in Kennebunk in the early 90's.Some of Mr. Gore's interests include surf fishing, tennis, attending musical theatre, and above all, watching and cheering for his Penn State Nitany Lions Football team.Predeceasing him is his wife Stella (Lapp) Gore.Surviving is a son Robert "Tom" Gore Jr. and his wife Estelle of Acton, a daughter Pat DeNunzio and her husband Silvio of Midlothian, VA; four grandchildren, Benjamin and Joshua Gore, Cassandra Freire, and Joel DeNunzio.There will be no prior visitation.
