Robert Carter

Robert A. Carter, 69, of Milton, New Hampshire, died on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Frisbee Memorial Hospital in Rochester.Robert was born in Portland on October 23, 1945 to Raymond and Ida Seavey. He proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard aboard the USCGC Castle Rock, WHEC-383. He later worked for many years at Index Packaging in Milton where he was employed until his retirement.Robert was a devoted and loving father. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an avid fan of the Red Sox, Celtics, Patriots and NASCAR. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.He is predeceased by his brother, Ronald Carter. Surviving are his children, Raymond and Melissa Carter;his grandson, Joseph Carter, his mother, Ida Seavey; his sister, Janice Seavey, his nieces, Kelly Carter, Tammy Carter, Ritann Carter, sister in law, Irene Carter, his girlfriend, Theresa Larose, Sharon's children, Lynn, Tammy, Karen, Kim, Michele, Melanie, Scott, Todd and Robyn and several grandchildren.Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday, February 9th at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home located at 580 Main Street in Springvale.
