Robert "Bob" L. BradstreetJuly 20, 2003Robert "Bob" L. Bradstreet, 76, of Sanford died Sunday, July 20, 2003 at his home after a long illness.Mr. Bradstreet was born on April 17, 1927 in Beverly Massachusetts. He was the son of Richard H. and Inez M. Morgan Bradstreet. Robert graduated high school in Beverly and entered the United States Army where he was stationed in Berlin.Mr. Bradstreet worked for many years for the United Shoe Company doing a variety of jobs. Robert had a great love for gardening around his property, fishing, skiing and going sailing. Mr. Bradstreet was predeceased by his daughter Jane Bradstreet in 1991. Surviving are his wife Marjorie Thompson Bradstreet of Sanford, one daughter, Carol Warren and her husband Steve of Shapleigh, and one grandson, Hunter Warren also of Shapleigh.A period of visitation will be held Thursday, July 24, 2003 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Heald Funeral Home, 580 Main St. in Springvale.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, One Main Street, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086 or the Epilepsy Foundation, 4351 Garden City Drive, Landover MD 20785
