Richard E. Dunton

Rick E. Dunton, 42 of Sanford, ME died Saturday March 15, 2003.Rick was born on September 26, 1960 in Framingham, MA. He was the son of Joan M. DesMarais Wilson.As a child Rick was raised in Massachusetts. He is a graduate of Franklin H.S. of Franklin, MA. He spent several years serving his country in the Army reserves, and later enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Following his discharge Rick worked for over 15 years at Cyro in Sanford, ME.Rick was a devoted catholic and loving father. One of his favorite pastimes was feeding the squirrels, and teaching his children about history, and grammar. He enjoyed teaching and playing sports with his children, and was the type of person to give you the shirt off his own back. Rick found grace in God and was particularly fond of The Lord's Prayer.Predeceasing him are his stepfathers Edwin H. Dunton, and Peter J. WilsonSurviving is his mother Joan M. Wilson of Sanford, his loving fiance, friend, partner, and mother of his children Robin Sibley Greenlaw of Sanford, a son Ricky R. Dunton of Sanford, two daughters, Sarah J. Dunton and Heather R. Dudley of Sanford. Also surviving is his grandfather Joseph H. DesMarais and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family members A period of visitation will be held on Friday March 21st from 4 to 8 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, Springvale, ME. Friends are invited to meet the family for a 9:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Saturday the 22nd at Holy Family R.C.
