Raymond L. Sinks

Raymond L. Sinks, 67, of Sanford passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Friday November 22, 2013. He was born in Concho, Oklahoma on March 14, 1946 a son of the late Elmer and Sophia (Polecat) Sinks.Raymond was self employed for many years which allowed him time to travel with his wife Linda and daughter Tammy as often as he liked. His hobbies included Native American beadwork, drawing and collecting trinkets. He loved listening to older country music and playing cards.Raymond will be fondly remembered for his outrageous sense of humor and wonderful laugh. He was a loving brother, husband, father, uncle and grandfather. He was a hero to his sisters.He is predeceased by his parents as well as two sisters, Rita Sinks and Betty Miller.He is survived by his children, Tammy Sinks, Robert Sinks and his wife, Lisa, Daniel Sinks and is wife, Staci, Carrielynn (Missy Sinks), Johnson and her husband, Paul Goodrich, two sisters, Juanita Gilman, Imogene McDowell, grandchildren, Jessie, Lupe, Julia, Franky, Ryan, Cassandra, Owen, Robert, Justyce, Alexander, Sophia and Logan as well as many nieces, nephews and three great grandchildren.A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th at 11AM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.
