Guestbook

  1. Ray was a very good man. He lived his life his way and on his terms but never at the expense of anyone else. Always wise, he had many words of wisdom to share with anyone that would listen. He was a man of few words yet when he spoke he did so in volumes. He took very good care of his family working many long hours. He was a veteran of the Korean war, serving as an infantryman. He loved fishing and rainy days. Knowing this, it makes perfect sense that on the day he was laid to rest, it was raining. He was like a second father to me as I was close friends with Mark, Dickie(Richard) and Roland. Angie, his wife, was an absolute angel! I will miss him a great deal. I knelt down at his wake and quietly told him: “Thank you for all you did, now….I’m going fishing! See you at that Great Lake in the Sky and for Pete’s sake, leave some fish for me!”

  2. Raymond was a good friend to my brother Richard Wormwood who was MIA in Korea. He named one of his sons after him. My parents were very fond of Raymond and Angie. Our sincere condolences to Raymond’s family. Sincerely, Noreen, Margaret and Robert Wormwood.
