Raymond L. Gauvreau, 53, of Lebanon, died at his home on June 25, 2021.Raymond was born on February 6, 1968 to Louis and Barbara Ann (Welch) Gauvreau in Sanford where he grew up and attended local schools. During his working life he was employed primarily in the construction industry.Raymond loved music and enjoyed playing the drums in his free time. He also enjoyed photography and liked to seek out new sites and scenery to photograph. He was an animal lover and was especially fond of his dog Rebel. He liked to have bonfires and spend time with his friends. Raymond will be remembered as a man with a great sense of humor who always enjoyed making people laugh. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.Raymond was predeceased by his father, Louis Gauvreau and by his sister, Lisa Gauvreau.Surviving are his mother and step-father Barbara Ann and Bradley Reynolds of Newport, Vermont; his brother, and sister-in-law, Albert and Paige Gauvreau of Kennebunk; his aunt and uncle, Ida and Dennis Smith of Sanford; his cousins, Shawn Smith of North Berwick and Tamara Smith of Sanford; five nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Rebel.Arrangements for Raymond will be private.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider sending a memorial contribution to the Animal Welfare Society, 46 Holland Road, Kennebunk, Maine 04043.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
