Raymond Doiron

Raymond J. Doiron, 67 years old, of Sanford, ME died Thursday, July 27, 2006 in Portland, ME.Mr. Doiron was born in Sanford on July 5, 1939. He was the son of Edward and Marie (Belanger) Doiron. He attended Sanford schools, and was a graduate of Sanford High School. Over the years Mr. Doiron worked for Unico, and Eastern Plastics. He was an active communicant of Holy Family Church in Sanford, where he sang in the choir. Mr. Doiron enjoyed reading, talking to his friends, playing bingo, and going out to eat.Predeceasing Mr. Doiron is a brother Donald Doiron.Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Jeannette (Jalbert) Doiron of Sanford, a daughter Karen Doiron of Sanford; three grandchildren, Brandee Doiron, Ashlee Goudin, and Curstee Goudin. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.A period of visitation for Mr. Doiron will be held this Tuesday, August 1, 2006 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Lafrance-Lambert and Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St. Sanford. A 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Sanford following visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
