Rachel Mills

Rachel Alice Philpot Mills, 68, of Waterboro, went to the Lord surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 22nd after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on the family farm in Limerick on March 20, 1940, a daughter of Andrew and Helen (Plaisted) Philpot. Rachel was loved by many and leaves behind many relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her parents and three family members, Barbara, Lewis, and Ronald.Survivors include her daughter, Deanna and her husband, Douglas of Waterboro, sons, Jeffrey and his wife, Susan of Sanford and David and his partner Richard of Limerick. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Rebecca, Ronald and Andrea, who'll miss her dearly. She is survived by six brothers, Robert, William, Richard, Leon, Gerald, and Daniel and four sisters, Frances, Ruth, Julia and Priscilla. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews who will miss her.A Funeral Service for Rachel will take place on Wednesday, June 25th at 2pm at the Limerick Congregational Church.
