Phyllis C. Tsika

Phyllis C. Tsika, 51, of Sanford, died May 1 at the Pine Point Center for Health Care after an illness of several months.She was born in Sanford on May 10, 1954, a daughter of Walbert and Doris (Larose) Charette. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Sanford High School.She had been employed over the years with Sprague Electric, Encore Shoe, Laconia Shoe, Augat, Thomas & Betts, Tyco and Airport Redemption.She was a member of the Harmony Club and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life including walks on the beach, listening to music and Bingo.She was a communicant of St. Ignatius Church.Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Thomas A. Tsika of Sanford, 2 sisters, Carol Poisson and her husband Emile of Springvale, Patricia LeClere of Lyman, an aunt, a niece and a nephew.Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 9:00 AM in St. Ignatius Church. Burial will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
