Peggy S. Pettipas

Peggy S. Pettipas, 43 years old, of Sanford, Maine died Friday May 16, 2003 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland.Mrs. Pettipas was born on January 14, 1960 in Ellsworth, ME. She is the daughter of Robert Sr. and Maria Drisko Johnson. She is a graduate of the Thornton Academy and for many years worked for Miller Ford, and most recently for Arundel Ford.Mrs. Pettipas was married on November 27, 1976 to her husband Tom. Together they traveled the northeast and Europe. She was a member of the Sanford/Springvale Fish & Game club and with her husband they would go to the club and practice target shooting. Peggy also enjoyed gardening, and caring for any animal that needed care.Surviving are her parents Mr. & Mrs. Robert Johnson Sr. of Sanford, a grandmother Maggie Drisko of Beals Island, ME; her husband of 26 years Tom Pettipas of Sanford; a daughter Catherine Pettipas of Taunton, MA; a son Thomas Pettipas of Sanford, ME; two sisters, Annie Sampson of Shapleigh, Catherine Bailey of N. Waterboro; two brothers, Robert J. Johnson Jr. of Sanford, and Richard L. Johnson of N. Waterboro.
