Pauline D. Fitzgerald

Pauline D. Fitzgerald, 67 years old, of Sanford died Saturday August 16, 2003 at the Newton Center in Sanford.Mrs. Fitzgerald was born on June 9, 1936 in Gorham, ME. She was the daughter of Herman and Emma Jemery Hodgkin. She is a graduate of the Massebesic adult education program and for several years worked at Bentley's Restaraunt in Portland. She lived in N. Waterboro until moving to Sanford in 1989. She was a member of the Curtis Lake Christian Church and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.Mrs. Fitzgerald enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening and trips down east to visit friends. She also loved being "Nanny" to her grandchildren.Surviving Mrs. Fitzgerald is a son Eugene of Somersworth, NH; three daughters, Debra A. Snow of W. Buxton, Rosemary E. Champagne of Sanford, Margaret Fitzgerald of Sanford, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. Also surviving is a sister Rose Harriman, and three brothers, Wallace, Richard, and Robert Hodgkin.Family and friends are invited to attend a 2:00 PM memorial service on Wednesday August 20th at the Curtis Lake Christian Church in Sanford.
