LimerickPaul D. Littlefield, 50 of Limerick has gone home to be with the Lord. On Friday, February 22, 2002 Mr. Littlefield passed away at Southern Maine Medical Center after a long courageous battle with colon cancer.He was born in Sanford, ME on May 23, 1951, the son of Milton & Gladys Littlefield.Paul grew up in Alfred, graduated from Sanford High School in 1969 and went on to serve 24 years in the U.S. Navy. A veteran of the Gulf War, he retired as Chief Warrant Officer.After his retirement from the Navy, he was currently working at Sanford Town Hall and the Furniture Showplace in Scarborough.He is pre-deceased by his father, Milton and sister Virginia. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Julie Miller Littlefield, and two daughters, Sarah and Angela, his mother Gladys Littlefield of Alfred, his brother, Robert L. Littlefield and his wife, Elizabeth of Wells, sisters, Patricia Wilson of Alfred, Janice Landry and her husband Richard of Sanford and Shirley Boucher and her husband Frank, of Limerick as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.A service to celebrate his Life will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2002 at 2:00 PM at the Curtis Lake Christian Church in Sanford.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, New England Division, Inc, Colon Cancer Care, 1 Main Street, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086.
