Deepest sympathy to his family.
What a wonderful person! Mr. Levesque anchored our Deering Center neighborhood. Always, always a friendly smile and greeting. His crisp pharmacist’s uniform spoke of his dedication to his profession and his customers. He was a friendly part of my childhood where all the shopkeepers had a relationship with the neighborhood – Mr. McCann ran the radio and tv repIr shop. Mr. Lopez ran the Jenny gas station. Mr. And Mrs. Roy ran the shoe shop. The Quality Shop, Leadbetter’s Bakery, Pat’s Meat Market, Central Square beauty parlor, the barber shop and the Lyric Theater all made Deering Center an idyllic place to grow up. Mr. Levesque epitomized that wholesome experience for which were very grateful. All our best to the Levesque family with thanks.
I think that was Batura’s bakery
Leadbetter’s was on Brighton
Condolences to Edie and kids. Paul was a gentleman, a good soul whom I was proud to call a friend. Paul hired me while I was a student at Cheverus, mentored me as I watched him deal compassionately with his customers and employees. He went out of his way to serve the community, having me deliver prescriptions to those who could not make it to the store. He was what a neighborhood pharmacist was meant to be and more, much more. Rest in peace.
So sorry to hear of your dad’s passing.
Stevens Ave. Pharmacy was your Dad!
He just wasn’t The Pharmacist….he was so much more….he was the most caring person I’ve ever met.
We need more people like your dad .
Sincerely
Deb (Watson ) Smalley
I grew up on Pleasant Avenue. My friends and I would often go into the Rexall Pharmacy on our way home from school. Mr. Levesque was always very welcoming and friendly. While at Deering I worked there. I was always impressed at how kind and caring his was to his customers. He knew them all by name. My mother went there often and was always treated respectful ly. Mr. Levesque always took time to answer all her questions.
He was a very special man.
My condolences to all of his family.
Remembering Mr. Levesque fondly.
Condolences to the family.
Our deepest condolences to you, Eddie. We remember Paul as a kind, thoughtful man and were fond of both of you when we lived across the street at Evergreen Condo Assn. we hope you are doing well. May you remember all the good times together.

As a young pharmaceutical representative I had frequent interactions with Paul. He was always kind, attentive and gave a few minutes of his time when he most likely had little to spare. He was a true gentleman, my condolences to his family.
Sending loving thoughts and heartfelt sympathy to Paul’s wife and family.I worked at the pharmacy during my high school years. Paul made such a difference in my life! We would talk about politics, philosophy, religion and ideas during slow times in the store. He challenged my mind and respected my ideas.
He was more than a pharmacist to his customers. He was an advisor and friend! I loved his family and occasionally baby sat when he rarely took time off to go out with his lovely wife Edie. He was truly a wonderful man and was very influential in my life! And I will forever be grateful for knowing him!
