Paul A. Gauvreau

Paul A. Gauvreau, 66 years old, of Biddeford, ME died Thursday evening, August 10, 2006 at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford.Mr. Gauvreau was born on December 28, 1939 in Old Orchard Beach. He was the son of the late Adalbert J. and Alma R. (Carignan) Gauvreau. He attended St. Ignatius schools in Sanford, and proudly served his country in the United States Army.For many years Mr. Gauvreau was a self-employed carpenter.Predeceasing Mr. Gauvreau was his brother Louis in 1999.Surviving is a brother Robert Gauvreau of Saugerties, NY; three sisters, Madeline Bertrand and her husband Richard of Sanford, Pauline Morgan of Sanford, Louise Bouley and her husband William of Ormond Beach, FL, and several nieces and nephews.An 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Gauvreau will be celebrated on Monday, August 28, 2006 at the St. Ignatius Church in Sanford.For those that desire, in lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
