Paul F. Brushwein

Paul Fred Brushwein, 83, of Sanford, passed away on Sunday February 19, 2006 at the Amesbury Village Nursing Home in Amesbury, MA. He was born in Lewiston on November 18, 1922 a son of Paul and Alexandria (Berube) Brushwein.He attended local schools in Lewiston. He also served his country during WWII in the Merchant Marines. Mr. Brushwein was employed by Paul V. Adams for many years until they closed. He then worked for Auclair Trucking until his retirement in the mid 80's. Following retirement he bought his own truck and worked for Granpa's Workshop. During his spare time he enjoyed boating.He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Elaine L. (Thyng) Brushwein of Sanford. He is also survived by one son, Lloyd Brushwein of Sanford, one granddaughter, Jessica.Arrangements are under the care of the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street in Sanford.Condolences may be expressed by returning to the "condolences" icon at the top left of this page.
