Leach, 61, of Sanford, Maine, died January 7, 2002 at The Mercy Hospital, Portland, Maine.She was born in Sanford, Maine, on February 20, 1940, the daughter of Kenneth and Pauline Walker Allen, JR., and attended local schools.Mrs. Leach worked at several shoe shops in Sanford and surrounding area.She enjoyed playing cards and board games with her family members, especially Scrabble. She also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles.She is survived by her sons Timothy Tibbetts and his wife Debbie of Sanford, ME., Mark Leach and his wife Priscilla of North Berwick, ME; brothers Richard Allen and his wife Janet of Alfred, ME., Kenneth Allen, JR. and his wife Martha of Alfred, ME., James Allen of California; a sister Judith Allard and her husband Daniel of Sanford, Maine; grandchildren Summer Leach, Tyler Leach and Alexis Sandra Tibbetts; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.Mrs. Leach was predeceased by her husband Richard Leach who died in 1993.Relatives and friends may call from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Thursday at Heald Funeral Home 580 Main St., Springvale, where a funeral will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday. Burial will be held in the spring of 2002 in evergreen Cemetery, Alfred, ME.
