Patricia M. Giguere

Patricia M. Giguere, 62, of Sanford passed away on Wednesday April 19, 2006 at her home in Sanford. She was born in Sanford on April 21, 1943, the only daughter of Oscar E. and Gabrielle I. (Guillemette) Couture. She graduated from St. Ignatius Catholic High School in 1961.A lifelong communicant of St. Ignatius Catholic Church she was also a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. On October 12, 1963 she married Gerard J. Giguere at Holy Family Catholic Church. He passed away in 2003. She was an avid bingo player, yatzee player and card player. She also loved to travel, having made pilgrimages to Fatima and Lourdes.She is predeceased by her mother, Gabrielle I. Couture. She is survived by her father, Oscar E. Couture of Sanford, two daughters, Donna Andrews and her husband, Brad of Danville, NH., Susan Ottey and her husband, Oneil of Sanford, two grandchildren, Paige Andrews and Olivia Andrews as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.Visiting hours will be on Monday April 24 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street in Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11am at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery.In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations to be made in her name to St. Thomas School.Condolences may be expressed by going to the "condolence" tab at the left.
