Norman H. Rich

Biddeford Norman H. Rich, 78, died on November 5, 2001 in Biddeford MaineMr. Rich was born in Reading, Massachusetts, on March 7, 1923,the son of Leon C. and Marion (Sawyer) Rich.He was educated in Saugus, MA and Calvin Coolidge College in Boston.Mr. Rich was a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Army and had lived and retired in Alfred, Maine for the past 35 years. He attended the Church of the Redeemer, in Rochester New Hampshire.He was the brother of Lt. Col. (Ret) Mahlon S. Rich of Spring Hill, Florida. He is predeceased by another brother Leon C. Jr. Rich, of San Francisco, CA. Surviving are several loving nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held on November 16, 2001, at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel at the New Veteran's Memorial Cemetery on Mt. Vernon Road in Augusta Maine.Arrangements are by Heald Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale Maine.
