Norman J. Normandeau, Jr., 75, of Lebanon, died January 16 at the Southridge Rehab and Living Center in Biddeford after a long illness.He was born in Sanford on September 13, 1930, a son of Norman J. and Beatrice (Goodwin) Normandeau, Sr., and attended schools in Sanford and Lebanon.He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.He was employed for 37 years with Wasco in Sanford, retiring in 1992.He was a member of the Lebanon-North Berwick Baptist Church and a member of the Riverside Grange in Lebanon.An outdoorsman and family man, he enjoyed country music and trains. His wife, the former Betty Lou Langlais, died in 1988.Survivors include 2 sons, Roger M. Normandeau of Springvale, Robert J. Normandeau of Lebanon, a daughter, Laura Coyne of Sanford, 4 sisters, Connie Butler, Joyce Pelletier, both of Sanford, Louise Smith, Linda D'Auteuil, both of Lebanon, 7 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren,1 great grandchild and 2 step great grandchildren.Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 10 AM in the Lebanon-North Berwick Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Malone officiating.
