Michael A. Worden

Michael A. Worden, 18 years old, of Saco, ME died Tuesday March 30, 2004 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.Michael was born on June 17, 1985 in Sanford, ME. He was the son of Dana Worden, and Kathy (Roussin) Smith. He attended Saco, and Massabesic schools, and worked as a salesman for Kirby Vacuum.Michael enjoyed listening to alternative music, playing videogames, watching movies and working on his computer. He liked to weld, and aspired to someday be an underwater welder. He loved his truck, and enjoyed snowmobiling, and three wheeling. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his friends, and will be missed by many.Surviving are his parents and stepparents, Kathy and Timothy Smith of Saco, Dana and Christine Worden of Sanford, two sisters, Tarsha Worden of Saco, Aislynn Worden of Sanford, a brother Jordan Velandry of Sanford, a grandmother Elaine Roussin of Waterboro, a grandfather Ronald Worden of Alfred, a great-grandmother Jeanne Letourneau of Sanford, and several aunts and uncles.Family and friends are invited to attend a 10:00 am memorial service on Monday April 5th at the Heald Funeral Home, Springvale, ME.For those that desire memorials may be made to the Bass House, 45 Heath Rd., Saco, ME 04072.
