Maureen Cobb

Maureen F. Cobb, 69, of Sanford, passed away on Thursday December 1, 2005 at the Goodall Hospital in Sanford. She was born in Portland on May 17, 1936 a daughter of Charles and Winnifred Grant. For many years she had been employed at the former Brooks Woolen Mill and Sanford and by the Reebok Co. in North Berwick. During her spare time she enjoyed doing crosswords and playing Yatzee.She was a devoted mother and loving grandmother who will be dearly missed by her friend and companion of many years, Lawrence S. Curit of Sanford, son, Harland H. Curit and daughter in law, Brenda Johnson of Alfred, daughters, Maureen F. Curit of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kimberly A. Degiacomo and son in law, Peter Brulotte of Sanford, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, two brothers, George Grant of Gorham and John Grant of Portland. three stepdaughters, Kathleen Henson of CA, Lynn Smith of Portland, Annette Locke of CT.Visiting hours for family and friends will be on Tuesday December 6 from 6-8pm at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street in Springvale.
