Mary Elizabeth WilsonActon, MaineMary Elizabeth Wilson, 93, of Acton, Maine, died June 11, 2001 at her residence in Acton.She was born May 11, 1908 in Acton the daughter of William and Mary Witham Bragg, and attended local schools.Mrs. Wilson worked at Goodall-Sanford Textile Mills, and was the assistant Post Mistress in Acton, Maine for 47 years, retiring in 1977. She was an active member of the Acton United Church of Christ at Acton Corner for many years.Mrs. Wilson enjoyed cooking, gardening, as well as Braiding and hooking rugs, many of her own design.Her husband of 68 years, Harland Wilson died in 1995. She is survived by her son Raymond Wilson, Gaston, SC; daughters, Barbara Brink of Laconia, NH., Phyrma Littlefield of Acton, ME; sisters, Eldora Clarrage of Wells, ME., Ethel Williams of Acton, ME., Merle Kimball of Sanford. Mrs. Wilson is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.Burial in Sanborn Cemetery, Acton, Maine.
