Mary P. Rodrigue

Mary P. Rodrigue, 93, of Sanford, passed away peacefully from natural causes at the home her husband built on Sunday March 12, 2006. At the time of her death she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 18, 1912 in Meriden, CT, a daughter of Michael and Mary (Halasnik) Patrick. The family moved to Skowhegan when she was two years old. she attended Skowhegan schools. In 1951 she moved to Sanford with her husband, Helon A. Rodrigue. She was a communicant of Holy Family as well as a membe of the Ladies of St. Anne. She retired from Alletta Dress Shop in 1974.She is predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Helon A. Rodrigue who passed away on August 24, 1993. She is also predeceased by two brothers, Michael and Joseph Patrick, one sister, Betty Chabot. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Whitten of Sanford, four sons, Thomas Rodrigue of Guilford, NH, Charles Rodrigue of Sanford, Edward Rodrigue of Sanford, and Bruce Rodrigue of GA, 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, one brother, Charles Patrick of New York, one sister, Annie Gilblair of Saco.Visiting hours will be on Wednesday 6-8pm at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street in Sanford. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 9am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Sanford.
