Mary F. Reid

WESTBROOK - Mary F. Reid, 89, formerly of Vagabond Street, Scarborough, died Monday, October 31, 2011, at Springbrook Center. She was born in Portland on August 18, 1922, a daughter of John S. and Mary E. (Rainey) Tracy. She graduated from South Portland High School. Mary devoted her life to homemaking and raising her family. In her leisure time she enjoyed baking, reading, and tending to her flower garden. She is predeceased by a son, Donald Reid, who died November 27, 1967; by two sisters, Elaine Brimecombe and Barbara McKeen; and a brother, John Tracy. She is survived by a daughter, Donna J. Frost and her husband Larry of Steep Falls; two sons, William A. Reid of South Portland and Robert E. Reid and his wife Bonnie of Gorham; a sister, Elizabeth Green and her husband Carl of Portland; two brothers, Paul Tracy and his wife Terry of Hudson, Florida and Richard Tracy and his wife Nancy of Hudson, Florida; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, at Conroy-Tully Crawford South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. Burial will take place at Forest City Cemetery, South Portland.
