Mary Ann Goode

Mary Ann Butler Goode, 54, of Sanford, passed away at her home on January 13, 2011 due to a heart condition. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on October 21, 1956 a daughter of the late Roy and Martha (Hanson) Butler. She graduated from Sanford High School in 1975.Mary worked as a CNA/MED. TECH at Hillcrest Nursing home for several years on the second shift. She also had worked at Hannaford in Sanford as a cashier.She was married to her best friend, Daniel Goode for over 32 beautiful years. She always felt Danny was her strength. Together they had three caring and loving sons to whom she would do anything for. Her husband and her three boys were her life. Her smile was worth more than words could say.Mary is survived by her husband, Daniel Goode of Sanford, children, Daniel and LeeAnn of West Newfield, Nicki of Sanford, Tim and Amanda of Sanford, her dear friends, Tirzah (Terry) and Dave Erickson of Sanford, sister in law, Susan Goode of East Sebago, her animals which she cherished, Muffin and Scrappy, her two bichons and Bingo and Lucky, her two kitty catsAt her request there will be no visiting hours and services.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider donations in her memory to a charity of one's choice.Arrangements are under the direction of the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
